How time flies
The school has started again, the first half of the third school term is over and my year abroad is coming to an end.
much I re-experienced, school, as well as outside of school. At school I had with my school football team's first game against another school. This day was a huge event, the grades five to seven were there. With the girls seventh grade I made a volleyball team, as that was been the subject matter of the second term. So we had a football game and a volleyball game against another school from Dar es Salaam. When our football game we had, unfortunately, can not achieve success. The kids were disappointed but short-lived, because the whole event itself was for them very staggering. And after the girls had won both halves in volleyball were all happy. With two full school buses, we drove to the sports ground of the other school - mood from beginning to end. On the sports field, it was a stormy, both schools have supported their team loudly. This was a great event for the students as well for me.
is otherwise in the School of life again versa. I have been there on where I left off at the end of the second term. There were small changes occurred during the computer classes, and I have started a new project. Once the children know now to use Microsoft Word, I started with them to create a newspaper for which each child writes articles, which have to do with the school. In physical education, I now start playing hockey. The next major work, which is due is that the orphans reports must be written for the sponsors of the orphans. There will be over 60 reports that we will send volunteers to Holland and Germany.
in our school garden I have begun to plant papaya, after seeing the seeds of the fruit had dried. The papaya trees will be planted on the new campus. The goal is to produce much fruit, so the children can get in school, she served as a dessert. Once a week Visiting the new school site to prepare it for the move because the unallocated space is planned for August.
In the meantime I have again allowed to receive visitors. My parents were here for two weeks and came home with many greetings from Germany, for which I would like to thank here.
the World Cup, which followed almost the whole world at the moment, here is almost like the World Cup on home soil. In Africa there is a complete continental Patriotismuss. Especially because the World Cup takes place on African soil, people are pursuing all missed the games. Specifically, if the play African teams are on, the bars are crowded. Because it's too loud, full of Enthusiasm to be looked at the games. But this is only in major cities such as in Tanzania has more than 80% of the population lacks access to electricity.
I once had released a week because we had Mid-term break of the third term. My spirit of discovery, of course, drew me back out to the countryside. This time with my Mitfreiwilligen walk to Albert in the Usambaraberge. The mountains at stretches in northeast Tanzania steeply to over 2000m. A beautiful landscape with a cool mountain climate, which is excellent for hiking. The small town of Lushoto was our starting point. We wandered through banana and sugar cane fields with eucalyptus trees higher and higher until we reach a Mother Nature's wonderful viewing platform reached. From there, you had a mile-wide view of the flat-lying Maasai land. Up to 600m, it is down here sharply. An observation which I already knew from the plane. We went on a bush path to the top of the mountain passes through small villages. Everywhere came running children on the way and have seen. I felt again as the monkey from the zoo. The children then walked even in a safety distance km behind us and when we turned around they were hiding.
is in school now the final sprint of the school year, which is noticeable in the behavior of the students. In our teacher conference, we talked about the Waldorf curriculum, which among other addressed to the four seasons spring, summer, autumn and winter. This is of course here in Africa a little hard because there are actually only two periods, the dry season and the rainy season. So we came up with the idea of the curriculum at the maturity of the fruits that grow to be addressed here in Tanzania. We currently have the orange time. Everywhere along the road sides, mountains pile of oranges. Previously, we had major time of the pineapple, when you could buy anywhere moderately pineapple. Next come the papayas, the end of the mango and passion fruit in the spring, and melons. You get throughout the year on all fruits, but there are certain months of an abundance of a certain type of fruit.
The weather has become much cooler now. It reminds me of warm summer days in Germany. In the morning and the evening temperatures drop now wakes up under the 30 ° C, which makes it very enjoyable because you do not include everything in the morning drenched in sweat. So I am now again making motivates sport and so I go now regular jogging. The road leads me through my neighborhood slumartiges addition to greener something and then to the sea where I stand on jogging along and take a refreshing dip in the water before me, then came home leads. expired

Probiotics And Verruca
new images from the Memorial Sandino.
here then the images come from "nacatamales" - that is so typical Nicaraguan n "court", but which is eaten especially on Sundays and for breakfast. a "nacatamal" is a banana-leaf wrapped in a corn-masse, in what is still a piece cerdo (pork) or pollo (chicken) packed meat. Moreover, a disk-potato, a heap of rice, a slice of tomato, whacked in a disk paprika and a bit of green stuff, so all tastes and for what:) then all thrown lovingly wrapped and tied nacatamales-parcel into a huge pot and water so about 5 hours on a fireplace cooked in the garden: it is namely the mass and the meat through mais! on the weekend - as I said - then eat a lot of those family-nica nacatamales, "acompaniados por un pancito" for breakfast - yummy ...:)
my host mom Michelle and her mama make from time to time these nacatamales and sell them for 20 cordoba / piece to the whole neighborhood of the Memorial Sandino.
